Duties and Responsibilities:

• Process and maintain precise records of incoming payments
• Send Statement of Accounts to customers
• Reconcile customer accounts
• Prepare and issue credit notes/debit notes
• Contact customers to ensure payment of outstanding invoices
• Follow up with customers regarding past-due accounts
• Work closely with Customer Service and Warehouse Dept. regarding accuracy of billings to customers
• Investigate and secure proper/complete documentation and approval of credits/deductions
• Run AR aging report with updated notes on the status of critical accounts
• Manage and calculate brokers' commissions
• Maintain documentation for compliance reporting and audits
• Other duties:

• • Help in month-end close by creating journal entries related to AR and posting to ERP system (ROSS)
  • Help in admin work such as answering and directing incoming calls and sorting incoming mails (as needed)
  • Back up to AP Analyst (as needed)
  • Back up to Customer Service (as needed)

• Strong computer skills, specifically Microsoft Office (Excel, Vlookup, Pivot table)

Requirements and Qualifications

• Associate degree in Business or 1 year experience in AR (B2B environment)
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business or Finance (preferred)
• Experience using ERP software & vendors/ customers portals & platforms (preferred)
